The Bioshock demo has been on the marketplace for a few days now and i can’t help but play it over and over again. I covered Bioshock many times because i expected it to be good, but if the demo is this great, what can we expect for the final game?
Bioshock starts off you off in the ocean in the middle of a blazing fire which leads you to a tower near the area where the plane went down. The second you enter, you will notice how the light hits the details of the architecture. That already shows off a game that obviously had a lot of work put into it. I don’t want to spoil any of the game/demo for you, so i highly suggest that you download this demo.
Bioshock deserves to be played in a dark room with a good sound system. On my 5.1 I could hear everything that happened and when the music, the sounds and the enemy chatter come together with the environment, it’s a beautiful thing. Don’t run through the game too quickly, take the time to enjoy the sights. At one point i even stood in a room to watch the water slowly fill a room.
I was easily captured by the game, and immediately, I understood. This was not your average adventure shooter. This a whole experience in its self and the city just begs to be explored. Bioshock is a must buy and expect it to get good ratings.
