In this list above, I have included options for everyone. There are 2.1 channel speakers, 5.1 channel speakers, the ones with surround sound, the inexpensive ones and even gaming speakers with RGB lighting.
So, no matter whether you are not tight budget or just want the highest quality of audio, you will find the perfect pair of speakers for your gaming PC.
For the reviews, I have outlined all the goods and bads that I found while testing these gaming speakers as well as my verdict on each of them to help you make an informed buying decision. So, without wasting more time, let’s begin!
Top 10 Best Gaming Speakers for Your PC
1. Logitech Z906
To begin with the best gaming speakers, we have the Logitech Z906. In the recent past, Logitech has introduced some really good gaming speakers that can beat even the home theater systems. And, the Logitech Z906 gaming speakers continue the same legacy.
The Z906 is a 5.1 channel sound system with five satellite speakers and one subwoofer. These 500 Watt gaming speakers give you unmatched audio quality and they are THX certified as well which means the audio output is the exact replica of the recorded sound.
A stand-alone control unit allows you to adjust the volume, tone and several other things using the large volume dial and several orange-LED indicators. You can also operate this control unit using is remote for comfort.
Talking about durability, the satellite speakers are sturdy and can easily survive a couple of accidental drops. They also feature adequate shielding to prevent dust buildup.
There are two mounting options for the satellite speakers. I suggest wall mounting as this gives the best surround sound effect possible.
To test the sound quality, the very first game I played with these gaming speakers was Call of Duty. As claimed by Logitech, the Z906 offers the best surround sound experience while gaming. And, with a good sound card (I used the Sound Blaster Z), it is very easy to replicate the 5.1 surround sound.
The best part about these gaming speakers is the plethora of audio inputs you can use. It accepts six input sources, ranging from RCA audio to Digital Optical and coaxial input etc. To choose the audio streaming audio, just select it on the control unit and even adjust volume for each source.
The only disappointment for me was the lack of HDMI input or output considering the cost of these gaming speakers. Without that, you can only play Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD audio if your media player can decode these codecs. Otherwise, you have to be satisfied with Digital / DTS audio format only.
Considering all the features, in my opinion, with 3D Surround Sound capability and superb audio output, the Logitech Z906 is the overall best gaming speakers you can buy in 2024.

2. Cyber Acoustics CA-2014RB
Next up we have compact and elegant pair of speakers from Cyber Acoustics, the CA-2014RB. Founded in 1996, the company’s forte is audio equipment including speakers, microphones and headsets.
The Cyber Acoustics CA-2014RB speakers feature a simple and neat design just like the traditional computer speakers. The greyish and black colors give them a professional look that can complement any gaming rig.
These 2.0 PC speakers feature 1.5-inch high-efficiency drivers that are capable of delivering mids and highs that can work well synchronized with a subwoofer.
At the bottom front part of the right speaker, you get a volume knob, power button, and headphone jack along with an LED indicator for power on/off status.
While gaming, the speakers perform pretty much above average giving you a better experience than the built-in monitor speakers. But, you cannot expect the room-shaking bass from these. Although, they are highly reliable for multimedia and okay for occasional gaming as well.
Costing just around 20 bucks, I would recommend the Cyber Acoustics CA-2014RB only if you are extremely tight on budget as these are the most inexpensive gaming speakers you will find on this list.

3. Logitech G560
We all know RGB lighting is the new trend in gaming peripherals. In fact, most PC gamers love it to the core. And, the one RGB gaming speakers I recommend to all gamers is the Logitech G560.
These gaming speakers can be synced with Logitech’s proprietary software LightSync. It allows you easily customize four lighting zones for both front and rear light projection from 16.8 million colors. The RGB lighting can also act as an audio visualizer which makes the lighting work according to the beats of the music.
You can choose between different RGB modes like the fixed color, color cycle, audio visualizer, breathing and screen sampler lighting modes.
I personally like the screen sampling mode as it extends the color composition on the screen and matches them to the RGB projection of these speakers for an immersive gaming experience.
Well, enough about lighting, let us now talk about the sound output of these gaming speakers. I tested these with Fortnite again and what surprised me was the positional audio. You can actually sense how far or from where the sound is coming on the screen.
Though there are only two satellite speakers and one subwoofer, it can still reproduce even 7.1 channel surround sound effectively which is generally not seen in any PC speakers.
Overall, the audio performance is just what you would expect from a $200 speakers. Complete with RGB and 7.1 surround sound capability, the Logitech Z560 is definitely the best RGB gaming speakers you can buy now!

4. Klipsch R-15PM
The next one on our list of best gaming speakers is the Klipsch R-15PM. Having five input options including Bluetooth and Optical as well, the Klipsch R-15PM is one of most versatile gaming speakers on this list.
Before we discuss the features, let me tell you this set of gaming speakers are pretty much expensive and not everyone would want to spend more than $300 on speakers. But if you are an audiophile, the Klipsch R-15PM will be quench all you craving.
Being a high-end speakers, R-15PM is equipped with powered monitors offering exceptional sound clarity.
Most users couldn’t imagine spending upwards of $500 on a PC speaker system, but audiophiles crave the high-end like any PC gamer lusts for the best graphics cards. High-end desktop speaker systems are typically composed of powered monitors and a separate subwoofer.
To control all the features, you get an IR remote that allows to easily select the audio source, track controls, and play/pause etc. making it much consumer friendly.
And, the best part is the built-in amplifier that eliminate the need for an external DAC. And the internal amp is specially synchronized to deliver ultimate sound output. Also, you can actually keep your desk pretty much neat without external DAC and save some space.
Talking about the sound quality, these gaming speakers deliver consistent and strong sound in all ranges. And if you want more bang, just add Klipsch R-10SW subwoofer and see the magic happen. But the cost goes even higher with that.
Considering the features and the audio performance, the Kilpsch R-15PM are my top choice for high-end PC speakers for gaming.

5. Genius SW-G2.1 2000
Next one on the list of best gaming speakers we have a Genius SW-G2.1 2000 – a pair of speakers that screams gaming in the very first look.
Generally, Genius is known for making affordable computer peripherals, but their GX Gaming products lineup proves to be a great option for gamers. And, the Genius SW-G2.1 2000 belongs to the same series.
First off, I want to talk about the unique design. With edgy details, Scorpion branding and LED lighting, these gaming speakers are definitely something all gamers crave for.
There are two satellite speakers and one subwoofer with 45 Watt RMS power output, all sharing same design features. The control unit is also designed vertical which pairs well which your gaming console. You get separate knobs for volume and bass along with three 3.5mm jacks where you can connect headphones, microphones and line input.
Talking about audio quality, the subwoofer is remarkably powerful while the satellites speakers are capable of reproducing powerful lows.
The only downside that I found was the satellite’s audio is not up to the mark if the subwoofer is eliminated. But at this price tag and mind blowing design, the Genius SW-G2.1 2000 is the one of most affordable gaming speakers with 2.1 sound setup.

6. Razer Nommo Chroma
Apart from Logitech, Razer is also known for its wide range of game-class products. And, their Razer Nommo Chroma speakers are especially designed for gamers too.
These 2.0 PC speakers are equipped with 3-inch custom woven Glass Fibre drivers. The purpose of glass fiber in the speaker cones is to produce tighter audio at high frequencies. This results in crystal clear audio details and distinct layers of sound.
You must be wondering when there is no subwoofer, will there be enough bass for the low-end sounds. But thanks to the hidden rear-facing bass ports which are engineered to deliver enhanced bass for a fuller audio range.
While testing these speakers with Call of Duty, the gunshots sounded so well that they thrill you to the core. You can also adjust the bass output using the automatic gain control Bass knob on the base of the right speaker. So, you can literally create the audio environment that you like according to your games.
Talking about the looks, I personally loved the out of the box design of these gaming speakers. They are quite attractive and instantly stand out when you see it on your desk.
Even the control knobs are placed so beautifully on the base that it adds to the aesthetic value while all other input-output ports are hidden at the rear side yet easily accessible. You get AUX in, Audio in, 3.5mm Headphone out and a power button at the back of the right speaker.
Apart from amazing audio experience, Razer Nommo Chroma comes with RGB lighting placed elegantly on the base of each speaker. The colorful lights glow the bottom and you can sync them with other RGB elements in your gaming build.
Being very portable, trendy design and immersive audio output, the Razer Nommo Chroma is the best gaming speakers with RGB lighting and quite affordable as well.

7. Logitech Z623
Once again, we have a sound system from Logitech. I am talking about the Logitech Z623 – a THX certified 2.1 speaker setup for amazing gaming experience.
Don’t be fooled by the holistic design, all the round edges and curves do not make it any less of a gaming speaker. It may not match the design expectations of gamers but it definitely is a powerful studio-quality sound.
These gaming speakers can deliver 400 Watts Peak output which is enough for room-filling audio. One of the two satellite speakers have the controls for volume and bass along with the power switch.
For testing the Logitech Z623 gaming speakers, I played Battlefield One because it requires spatial awareness to perform better in the online scene. I could clearly hear the coin tosses including the direction. I would say it really shines because it can directing the specific frequencies allowing you sense the direction of every single sound.
One thing I would like to mention here is that you will need a sound card with Sonar or something similar technology to make the directional sound work flawlessly. If you have one installed, these gaming speakers are awesome.
Let’s talk about the bass of the Z623, these speakers are loud and shameless! You can also use your headphones directly from the speakers and the sound output just kills it.
In my opinion, this set of Logitech Z623 speakers is the best gaming speakers to take your gaming experience to the next level.

8. Cyber Acoustics CA-3602a
The next one on our list of best gaming speakers is another marvel from Cyber Acoustics. The CA-3602a gaming speakers is an advanced version of its pretty basic cousin CA-2014RB that we discussed earlier.
This 2.1 channel speaker system has one powerful subwoofer and two well-designed satellite speakers delivering audio at 30 watts RMS power.
The speakers are equipped with dual 2-inch drivers on each satellite with produce crisp and accurate mids and highs. And, the subwoofer is remarkably powerful for thrilling bass punches.

9. Bose Companion 2 Series III
When I say Bose, you can figure out what kind of sound quality we are referring. The Bose Companion 2 Series III is one such speakers that are going to enhance the gaming audio experience to new heights.
Don’t be fooled by the fancy looks and no extra controls. These speakers are much more on the inside than they’re on the outside.
With Bose’s TrueSpace Stereo Digital circuitry, you can really feel the spacious sound while you game. And, thanks to the ported cabinet design, the low-end sounds along with the minor details are very noticeable. I could literally feel the engines roaring as well as the footsteps on the floor equally good.
For input, there are two source ports at the back – one for AUX and other for standard PC audio input. Having dual inputs allows you to use the same speakers while gaming on your smartphone or iPad as well without having to remove other wires or anything.
It has very fancy and easy to use controls. There is a standard master volume knob on the front to control the loudness of the audio output. Right next to it is a 3.5mm headphone jack, using which you have benefits of TrueSpace Stereo on your gaming headsets as well.

Logitech has also innovated in the input system. Commonly, the audio i/o ports are at the back of the subwoofer which is a bit difficult to reach and operate. How to Choose the Perfect Gaming Speakers?
After reading the reviews, I am sure you must have shortlisted a couple or more speakers. But, before you go on and buy, you must understand a few important things which will help you to choose a set of speakers that will be best for you.
Consider Your Gaming Room: The first thing to understand even before looking at any speakers is the size of your room. It pretty dictates what kind of gaming speakers you need. For those living in a small space with neighbors, they should not go for 5.1 speakers or higher. Just choose a good 2.1 stereo speakers. They may not produce true surround sound but they’re way better than the built-in speakers of your monitor.
Actually the space also decides which gaming speaker you should buy. For those who do not have dedicated gaming room, a dedicated single piece soundbar is better choice. If your gaming desk has enough room, you can choose to have a separate subwoofer for powerful bass otherwise it will be clumsy.
Check Your PC Specs: Another thing that plays a decisive role while choosing the gaming speakers is your PC’s motherboard. Actually, not all motherboards can handle 5.1 surround sound. If your mobo supports 5.1 system, then you can attach a 5.1 channel speaker set with the front cable of speakers going into the line out port, the rear cable into the rear out and subwoofer into the sub out port.
Otherwise, you have to choose other ports to enjoy the 5.1 system. For that, plug the front cable in the line out, the rear one into the line in and subwoofer into the mic in port. Afterwards, you must configure the software to set the output to 6-channel mode.
The compatibility also depends on the PC’s sound card. You wont be able to have more than 2.1 channel output in older PCs. So you must check that out beforehand.
Also, even if the PC’s sound card supports the speakers you are looking to buy, an amplifier is important to drive speakers. A wise option is to get a pre-amplified set of speakers having harmonic distortion not more than 2%.
Know Which Features You Need: You need to be specific about the features that you prioritize when it comes to gaming audio systems. In most cases a 2.0 channel (left plus right) speakers are enough to significantly improve audio quality compared to the stock monitor speakers.
In case you want to hear and feel the audio, a subwoofer is a necessary option and let me warn you it takes up space on your gaming desk
Check the Power: Power is basically the wattage of the speaker which is defines the loudness of your gaming speakers.
See, if you want to completely immerse in the game without any sign of whats happening outside, then go for high wattage speakers. But if you just want to hear the bangs, shots and background music of the game, a 40-watt speaker should work.
Also, if there are multiple controls available with speakers, do note that a remote control should be there to remove the hassle of dials and knobs. Also, you must check if the bass, treble, and other frequencies can be adjusted via software etc. so that you can adjust audio output according to your taste.
Look into Your Budget: Lastly, as the famous saying goes “Money Talks” and it stands true almost everywhere and while buying gaming speakers as well. So, make sure you can afford what you are choosing.
The 5.1 and 7.1 speakers usually cost higher than the 2.1 channel stereo speakers which are budget friendly. The positive side today is the plethora of options available for gaming speakers at a budget price, thanks to the advancing technology.

I’m holding on to my Logitech Z-5500 until it finally gives in and dies. I don’t even know how long I’ve had it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s around 15 years at this point. Proper 5.1 with a 10″ sub.
When playing games with voice chat I do use a headset, but for single player games I wouldn’t dream of it.
